TIP 1- Physiotherapy
Take a jumper or a cardigan to roll your own lumbar support on long haul flights. Pop into the small of your back. Keep moving and hydrated whilst in the air!

Training for a special event over the summer? Keep up your momentum by bringing mindfulness into your training sessions.
Research suggests that practicing mindfulness during exercise- for instance, by focusing on the motion of your body or the sensations of breathing out and in- could help you enjoy your training more. And that could be the difference between giving up and going on.

Tip 4- Nutrition
This Summer Smoothie for Glowing Skin: bursting with collagen supporting vitamin C, beta-carotene and vitamin A, all in a base of electrolyte rich coconut water to keep skin hydrated.
Ingredients: 1 cup coconut milk, 1 cup organic baby carrots, 1 cup mango chunks, 1 cup strawberries, 1 orange. Blend until smooth, add ice if required.
Tip 5- Holistic Massage
Heat can dehydrate the skin, take a moisturizer with you to prolong your tan. If you have swollen feet from flying always massage towards the heart of the body to improve circulation and blood flow.
Tip 6- Podiatry
Wearing flip flops for long periods can increase your chances of Achilles tendinopathy and Plantar fasciitis. Consider wearing trainers or having bare feet if walking long distances on holiday. Picking sand up with your toes will exercise all the small muscles in your feet.
Tip 8- Pilates
Did you know that when you float on the surface of the water on your back you are engaging your core muscles? How long can you stay afloat? Standing and battling the waves also engages your core……
