My journey to becoming a Chartered Physiotherapist - getting to know Steven Cockburn

After 10 years as a Personal Trainer and Massage Therapist, I felt like I was coming to a crossroads in my career. Many of my clients were getting stronger and fitter, but every now and then an injury would creep in or a setback in their training that would require the input of a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist.

After having worked closely with a team of Physiotherapists in my last few years in London, I witnessed first hand their ability to diagnose and treat all types of musculoskeletal conditions and how rehabilitation helps recovery from musculoskeletal conditions. Physiotherapy is based in science and research and offered an evidence based way of treating clients to help recover from injury and illness.

It was then I realised I had been searching for a Physiotherapy career path all along and that this was going to be the next step in my career journey.

Physiotherapy is a very competitive environment despite there being a shortage of qualified practitioners. I believed the skills and experience I gained over the years stood me apart from others with my experience as a Personal Trainer a Massage Therapist. My journey to becoming a qualified and Chartered Physiotherapist has given me a wide range of skills and experiences that I carry forward into private practice and in the NHS working closely with patients to return them to optimal health and fitness levels.

During my studies, I experienced a wide range of NHS clinical placement settings from being on hospital wards in major trauma, orthopaedics, rehabilitation, community paediatrics to MSK outpatients. My Masters degree also led me to conduct research into the potential benefits of prehabilitation in those undergoing prostate cancer treatment.

After having successfully secured a full time NHS role before graduating I continue to improve my skills and experience with further MSK educational courses as well as training with Jill & her team. I am very excited to be part of the Physiotherapy team at Jill Kerr Physiotherapy at Therap-Ease offering Massage and Physiotherapy services to the Edinburgh community. I have a calm and friendly manner and believe I am a great addition to the Massage and Physio team.

In an era of college football defined by the transfer portal's chaos and NIL deals that would make Fortune 500 executives blush, loyalty has become the rarest of commodities. Jeremiah Smith, the Ohio State wide receiver universally regarded as the best player in college football, recently turned down a transfer offer exceeding $10 million to remain a Buckeye . It was a decision that stunned the sport—and one that cemented his legacy before he ever plays another down. Jeremiah Smith Ohio State Jersey

In the annals of American sports, no family name carries more weight than Manning. From Archie's heroic days in a New Orleans Saints uniform to Peyton's five MVP awards and two Super Bowl rings, to Eli's two Super Bowl victories over Tom Brady, the Manning dynasty has defined quarterback excellence for three generations. Now, the torch has passed to Arch Manning—the 6-foot-4, 219-pound redshirt junior at the University of Texas who carries the weight of his family's legacy while determined to write his own chapter. From the heavy cotton jerseys of the 1980s to the high-tech, skin-tight uniforms of today, NCAA basketball and football apparel have always been about more than just covering the players. They are a canvas for tradition, a battleground for corporate innovation, and a multi-billion dollar statement of identity. The story of the NCAA jersey is a fascinating intersection of technology, marketing, culture, and strict—but evolving—regulation. Bowers Jersey
